Privacy policy
This policy covers marblinghq.com and the four product pages served under it: latch, tartare, arena and metal, each at its own subdomain. It describes everything those pages do. They are informational pages — there is no account to create, no form to fill in and nothing to buy.
What we collect
One thing: anonymous, aggregated usage statistics, so we can tell whether anyone reads these pages and which of them.
We use Rybbit, an open-source analytics tool that we host ourselves on our own infrastructure. Your visit is not shared with an advertising network, and we do not sell, rent or trade anything about it.
For each page view it records the page address and title, the site you arrived from, and coarse technical facts about your device — browser, operating system, screen size, language, and a country derived from your network address.
What we do not collect
- No cookies. These pages set none, which is why you are not being asked to dismiss a banner.
- No IP addresses. Address storage is switched off for this site; your address is used in transit to derive a country and is not retained.
- No names, email addresses or accounts, because there is nowhere on these pages to enter one.
- No cross-site tracking and no advertising or social-network pixels of any kind.
If you write to us
The pages list an email address. If you use it, we hold your message and your address for as long as we need to deal with what you wrote about, and we use them for nothing else.
Third parties
Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, so your browser requests font files from Google when a page loads. Our pages are delivered by Vercel, which operates the servers that answer your request. Each of them processes what any web server necessarily sees to answer a request. Analytics runs on our own infrastructure and is not a third party.
Your rights
Under Swiss data-protection law and, where it applies to you, the GDPR, you may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to how it is processed. Because we do not store an identifier that can be traced back to you, in practice there is usually nothing to return — but write to us and we will tell you exactly that, or act on the request if there is anything to act on.
You can also opt out of analytics entirely by turning on your browser's “Do Not Track” setting or by using any content blocker.
